Centro Canalejas

Award-winning historic centrepiece 

The unique Centro Canalejas Madrid (CCM) project involved the complete refurbishment and transformation of several historic buildings in the heart of the Spanish capital. The focus was on protecting and maintaining this example of historical and cultural heritage, especially the façades and the main gallery of two buildings. The project has now been awarded the international LEED Gold certificate for its environmental design and energy efficiency. In addition, the project was planned using the BIM (Building Information Modelling) method, which has a positive impact on sustainability by enabling cost optimisation and responsible use of material resources.
