Fire Station, Multi-Purpose Space and Emergency Housing

The oversized windows were each designed with a rounded corner. These are based on Janisol Arte 2.0 window steel profiles, which were each manufactured by Lootens to room height and in special geometries with a rounded corner. With the narrow profile face widths of just 25 or 40 millimetres for fixed glazing and a construction depth of 60 millimetres, fine yet stable constructions with a high proportion of glass and optimum thermal insulation can be realised.

The building was nominated for the EUmies Award Architecture & Emerging 2024.
