Challenging facade

Thanks to the Jansen VISS steel system, the 6,000 m² mullion-transom facades could be realized precisely, safely and efficiently in accordance with the architects' vision. In addition to visual requirements, the facade also meets high technical standards: fire protection (VISS Fire EI60) and bullet resistance (VISS Facade FB4).
Florian Rode, Partner at HNP architects, explains: "Complex technical fire protection requirements had to be resolved in order to construct buildings that were as transparent and as glassy as possible, with no visible differences between the various fire protection qualifications. This was ideally realized using Jansen products. A highly thermally insulated facade construction with passive house certification from the Jansen VISS Facade steel profile system was used for the facade, supplemented by the reliable Jansen VISS Fire."
