Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any harm.
Using the information included in cookies we can make navigation easier for you and enable the correct display of our website. Under no circumstances is the data recorded by us passed on to third parties or is a link with personal data created without your consent. Several cookies remain saved on your end device until you delete them. They make it possible for us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
If you do not want this you can set up your browser in such a way that it informs of you the setting of cookies and you only allow these in specific cases. The functionality of certain elements of our website can be limited upon the deactivation of cookies.
Web analytics
Purposes of processing
On behalf of the operator of this website, the provider of the web analytics will use the information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator relating to the use of the website and the internet.
Legal basis
The legal basis for the use of web analytics is your consent as per Art. 6(1)(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Recipient/categories of recipients
The recipient of the data collected is the respective provider of web analytics.
Transfer to third countries
Personal data is transferred to the USA under the EU-US Privacy Shield based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Duration of data retention
The data sent and linked with cookies, user IDs or marketing IDs is automatically deleted after 14 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is deleted automatically once a month.
Rights of data subjects
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting the settings in your browser to prevent cookies from being stored; please be aware, however, that you may not be able to use the full functionality of the website in this case.
You can also prevent data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being recorded and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on. Opt-out cookies prevent your data from being recorded in future when visiting this website. In order to prevent Universal Analytics from recording data via various devices, you must opt out on all of the systems you are using.
Google Analytics/Google DoubleClick
If you have provided your consent, Google Analytics and Google DoubleClick, a web analytics service from Google LLC (‘Google’), are used on this website. Usage covers the operating mode ‘Universal Analytics’. This makes it possible to assign a pseudonymous user ID to data, sessions and interactions over several devices and thus analyse the activities of a user across different devices.
Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie relating to your use of this website is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is enabled for this website, your IP address will however be truncated beforehand by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA before being truncated there. We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been enhanced with IP anonymisation on this website to ensure anonymised capture of IP addresses (known as ‘IP masking’). The IP address communicated by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google. You will find more detailed information on terms of use and data privacy at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and at https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.
DoubleClick uses cookies which assign a pseudonymous ID number to your browser. The cookies are used to evaluate the use of this website. The data collected is evaluated for statistical purposes and in anonymised form. The cookies are used to promote this website operator’s products (retargeting). Advertisements relating to this may be shown to the user on other websites at a later point in time. We also use the services of Aumago GmbH, Savignyplatz 9/10, D-10623 Berlin to analyse and display advertising.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps for embedding maps. In doing so, we connect to servers of Google Ireland Ltd. via an API. The IP address, URL (internet address) of our website and the date/time of use are sent to Google as a minimum. The legal basis for transfer is our agreement with Google Ireland Ltd. (https://www.google.com/intl/de_US/help/terms_maps.html) as per Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR in conjunction with a joint controller agreement as per Art. 26 of the GDPR, which you can access here: https://privacy.google.com/intl/de/businesses/mapscontrollerterms.
In this respect, visitors using Google Maps enter into a direct user relationship with Google. Further information on this can be found in Google’s detailed data protection agreement https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
Facebook pixel
‘Facebook pixel’ from the social network Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA or, if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (‘Facebook’) is used on our website.
Facebook pixel enables Facebook, for one thing, to designate you, as a visitor to our website, as a target group for displaying adverts ('Facebook ads’). In line with this, we use Facebook pixel to display Facebook ads placed by us to only those Facebook users that have also shown an interest in our online services or who have the specific characteristics (e.g. interest in certain subjects or products that are defined using the websites visited) that we communicate to Facebook (known as ‘custom audiences’). With the help of Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to users’ potential interests and do not irritate them. With the help of Facebook pixel, we can continue to monitor the effectiveness of Facebook adverts for statistical and market research purposes, as we can see if users have been redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook advert (known as ‘Conversion’).
Use of social plug-ins
We use simple links to the social networks Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google+ and YouTube on our website. When you leave our website, under certain circumstances further data is collected if you are logged in to a linked social media service. More detailed information on the scope and purpose of the collection and use of data and on your rights in relation to this and options for protecting your privacy can be found in the data protection instructions of the relevant platforms.
Your rights
You have the right to receive information on your personal data stored by us. You also have the right to correction, blocking or, except for the required data storage for business processing, deletion of your personal data. For this, please contact:
E-mail: datenschutz@ jansen.com
The mail contact details of Jansen AG can be found below.
In order for a blockage of data to be able to be taken into account, the data must be kept in a block file for checking purposes. You can also demand the deletion of this data if there is no requirement for archiving. If we are not permitted to delete your data, we will block it upon request.
You can undertake changes or the revocation of consent with a corresponding notification to us with future effect.
Right of appeal
You have the opportunity to submit a complaint to a data protection regulatory authority at any time.
Change to our data protection regulations
We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration on occasion so that it always corresponds to the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. upon the introduction of new services. The new data protection declaration is then valid for a renewed visit.
