Design and aesthetics
Functionality and design absolutely do not have to be mutually exclusive. A diverse combination of safety applications is available, such as fire protection with burglar resistance alongside sound insulation and highly efficient thermal insulation. Whether for doors, windows, glass facades or partition walls, the focus during development is always on ensuring freedom of design with openness and transparency. In this way, Jansen opens up a new dimension of system capability: creative freedom, allied perfectly to a technological solution for practically any requirement.
Tested safety
The increasing demand for safety among building owners and operators is evident from the growing catalogue of demands. The highly resistant properties of steel makes our profile systems ideal for meeting the highest constructional safety standards: in structures where safety is a factor, steel profile systems need to work reliably even at the extremes, which is why they undergo a wide variety of stress tests. Alongside the tests that we undertake internally on our new developments – tests performed long before a product comes to market – we commission tests from independent bodies such as ift Rosenheim and gpd Dornbirn. They provide documented proof that the doors, windows, facades, partition walls and sliding units constructed from our steel profile systems meet the required safety standards.
Building solutions
As one of the leading European producers of steel profile systems, Jansen offers end-to-end system solutions for doors, windows and facades to meet all standards-related requirements. At our Technology Centre, we test elements down to the smallest detail under real conditions and carry out certification directly on site, both for systems and for customer-specific solutions. To Jansen, safety means far more than providing computer-generated evidence that a standard has been met: even when tasked with meeting personal, ‘perceived’ safety requirements, the Company is available to provide consultation and assistance based on its well-founded expertise. Delivering and communicating safety and security is a core element of Jansen’s company philosophy.
Technical security
There is a set of rules relating to technical security for almost every field of application within the construction industry. These rules focus on the benefits of the product in relation to its function. But technical security is about far more than that – ideally, it covers all life cycle phases of a product, from planning and design, through manufacture and use, to demolition and disposal. Technical security is an aspect to which Jansen attaches great importance during the development and manufacture of steel profile systems for doors, windows, facades and fixed glazing elements. The issue of security is one that we implement in all of our solutions, and one whose values we emphasise, alongside the technical content, in our comprehensive training courses. Our in-depth expertise in the field of safety and security makes Jansen your skilled partner for appropriate solutions. With tested steel profile systems for windows, doors, facades and fixed glazing elements, Jansen does far more than simply contributing to the external shell of the building: it provides a tangible level of added value in terms of health and wellbeing, coupled with a high degree of technical security and protection from attack. That is what we understand by safety. It is a fundamental requirement that turns rooms into spaces for living, in which we can feel altogether safe and at ease – for generations to come.
Experience for yourself how Jansen brings security into harmony with each of the individual issues.
