Innovative surface finish protection ZF 100

For Jansen steel profile systems

What has proven its worth over many years in the automotive sector is now being used in the construction industry for the first time: galvannealed steels with a zinc-iron layer (ZF) for window and door profile systems.

As an innovative technology company and first supplier of steel profiles we exploit the many advantages of the galvannealed hot-dip coatings. The innovative surface finish leads to less pore formation, less smoke and fewer sparks when welding. Consequently we now use ZF 100 coatings for the basic corrosion protection of all steel profiles for window and door systems.

Technical office

Material specification

  • S250GD steel grade with ≥ 250 MPa yield strength
  • Zinc/iron metal coating with a minimum application mass of 100 g/m2
  • ∅ layer thickness from 5-12 µm as per EN 13046
  • Surface type A: matt surfaces without spangles

 New: ZF 100 surface finish protection

  • Previously available Z 275 coatings are gradually replaced
  • The conversion comes at no extra cost
  • Existing item number remain valid
  • Requirements to safety, any combination options and durability of products guaranteed as per EN 13046
