UMusic Hotel & Albéniz Theatre: A Successful Revitalisation

An outstanding example of urban revitalisation has been realised in the heart of Madrid’s historic centre. Thanks to Jansen’s innovative systems, the significant, listed building complex ‘Music Hotel & Albéniz Theatre’, whose origins date back to 1762, has been fitted with the latest generation of windows and doors.
Janisol door systems were installed in the high-traffic entrance areas of the hotel and theatre. They offer a high level of security, stability and optimum thermal insulation, whilst featuring a slender profile design – a crucial factor for installation in listed façades.
Janisol Arte partition walls and windows were used in the hotel rooms.
The ‘UMusic Hotel & Albéniz Theatre’ project is an outstanding example of successfully striking a balance between heritage conservation, modern architecture and economically sustainable use.
