CE label also available for special geometries

|

Safety and quality, assured by the CE label, are criteria that are not just required by standard windows. The documentation for the required performance characteristics ensures the highest quality standards for special geometries, too. With the Janisol steel profile system from Jansen, a wide range of window types can now be supplied bearing the CE label.

By assuming responsibility for the conformity of special geometries, such as studio skylights, round and segmented arched windows, as well as pivot-hung and top-hung windows, Jansen, Europe’s leading provider of steel profile systems for windows, doors, façades and folding and sliding doors, provides architects, planners and manufacturers with the greatest freedom possible in the planning and manufacture of unique window elements that give buildings a distinctive appearance. A wide range of window designs from the Janisol, Janisol Primo, Janisol HI and Janisol Arte steel profile systems have undergone testing in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and the EN 14351-1 product standard. As part of this testing, the following verifications were provided: Resistance to wind load in accordance with EN 12210, tightness against heavy rain in accordance with EN 12208 and air permeability in accordance with EN 12207. The testing results vary according to the element type and coating; however, the target value was always achieved and in some cases even surpassed. The respective performance values for the individual steel profiles are listed in detail in the product range.

All of the requisite documents and instructions for the CE label are available at the Docu Center
