AKKA Hotel Antedon, Antalya: Luxury resort on the Turkish Riviera

The AKKA Hotel Antedon is a luxury-class holiday resort. Since opening in 2005, the property has been continuously renovated and conceptually further developed. The latest construction measures focused on the main restaurant and the spa area. In both zones, steel systems from the Swiss company Jansen AG were used: single- and double-leaf doors were manufactured using Jansen-Economy 50, while fixed glazing was executed with Jansen Art’15. The powder coating in a warm bronze tone creates a subtle, elegant spatial effect, and custom-designed steel handles underline the high design standard.
The execution was carried out by Aygök Mimari Metal, Ankara, which realised the approximately 30 required single- and double-leaf doors as well as fixed glazing with-in a record time of just 45 days. This was only possible because the curved profiles were fabricated on site using previously prepared templates – a craft-based achievement requiring a high level of precision and know-how. The high-quality per-formance of the Jansen-Economy 50 and Jansen Art’15 steel systems, including hinges and fittings, ensures long-term reliable operation. Guests therefore continue to benefit from an ambience that is not only functional but also offers a high level of architectural quality and comfort.
