Jansen VISS Fire EI30 facade
The thermally separated VISS EI30 post and mullion structure has now been tested with frame widths of 50 mm and 60 mm – thus ensuring that virtually no wishes are left unfulfilled in terms of the choice of the glazing and its dimensions. Made from welded flat steel, the VISS facade systems can bear glass loads of up to 1800 kg. Various types of glass from different manufacturers have undergone testing. The maximum permitted glass di-mensions are 2300 mm in width x 4600 mm in height (in portrait format) – which provides for an impressive surface area of more than 12 square me-tres! With filling element thicknesses of up to 70 mm, an Uf value of up to 0.96 W/m²K can be achieved.
More options, fewer components
The Swiss company Jansen AG – the leading provider of steel profile systems for windows, doors, and facades as well as folding and sliding doors and gates has subjected its VISS Fire fire protection facade to an expanded testing program. The glass type, glass sizes and building corners that have undergone greater testing now increase the creative freedom of architects and design engineers. Manufacturers benefit from the reduction in the number of components, which saves on time and costs during the production and assembly phases.
