A striking structure made of steel and aluminum

An oxide-red steel structure gives the Lamb Street Building in London's Spitalfields neighborhood its distinctive appearance.
While the floor-to-ceiling facades of the storefronts on the ground floor and the commer-cial unit on the upper floor were constructed using the Schüco FWS 50+ SG (Structural Glazing) aluminum system, the architects chose the JANSEN VISS SG steel system for the full-height facades of the foyer.
The entrance doors are made from the Schüco AD UP 75 aluminum system, featuring covered hinges and full height handle bars; they meet safety standard RC2.
