VISS Fire Facade EI30 RC2/3
With a view to combining fire protection and burglary protection in modern facades, Jansen offers a facade system that fulfils both requirements: the VISS Fire facade EI30 RC2/3. This development aims to offer multi-functionality by providing both effective fire protection and a high level of burglary protection.
Traditionally, fire protection and burglary protection have been considered separately and distinct solutions were implemented accordingly. However, growing safety requirements and the complexity of modern construction projects have led to an increasing demand for systems that combine both protective functions. A building that is protected against both fire and burglary not only offers a higher standard of security, but also contributes to cost efficiency and the improved management of construction projects, as fewer different systems need to be integrated and maintained.
To fulfil these requirements, Jansen has developed the VISS Fire facade EI30 RC2/3. This system combines an EI30 fire protection class, which guarantees a 30-minute fire resistance, with burglary protection classes RC2 and RC3, offering protection against attempted break-ins with simple tools (RC2) or heavy tools (RC3). This combination ensures that the facade offers reliable protection both in the event of a fire and in case of an attempted break-in.
The VISS Fire Facade EI30 RC2/3 has been specially developed to fulfil the requirements of modern construction projects. It is robust and flexible, making it ideal for use in a variety of building types, from residential buildings to office blocks and public buildings.
