The careful renovation of the historic Convento de San Marcos has resulted in a modern 5-star hotel with impressive architecture. The heart of the new Parador is a building-high atrium with all-round glazing made from the Jansen VISS facade steel system, complemented by delicate folding sashes made from Janisol Arte 2.0. Interior doors, windows and fixed glazing were realized with Janisol as a slim contrast to the massive historical building fabric. The chosen profile technology combines clear lines with high functionality and underlines the sustainable claim of the project.
