A listed building and fire protection in agreement

Heatherwick Studios put forward the idea of having Frener & Reifer construct their facade. The experienced metal construction company used the Janisol Arte and Janisol steel profiles for the arcade windows and doors for the shops. The sophisticated and at the same time highly robust profiles are designed to be used in structures for listed buildings. The profiles allow for a high proportion of glass to be used with optimal thermal insulation and at the same time adhere to the latest fire protection regulations. They were combined with the fully insulated VISS glazing bar system.
