Jansen wins the European Geothermal Innovation Award
The renowned European Geothermal Award was presented at the thirteenth GeoTHERM, Eu-rope's largest geothermal energy trade fair, in Offenburg-Ortenau. This year we, Jansen AG, are the happy winners and were awarded for the JANSEN hipress downhole heat exchanger. After we had already been nominated for the Ruggero Bertani European Geothermal Innovation Award with the JANSEN shark tube surfaces technology in 2017, this time Jansen was able to win the prize. The JANSEN hipress, the only product in the downhole heat exchangers category, fought out the final round with four European companies.
Dietmar Alge, head of geothermal energy sales says: "I am very pleased about the award. It is to the credit of the entire development team. We are proud that we were able to convince the jury and able to offer a solution even for energy suppliers, planning companies, energy planners and areas with high energy demand and concentrated construction. The JANSEN hipress down-hole heat exchanger is an attractive alternative to fossil heating systems (oil, gas) and makes an environmentally friendly energy supply possible for many generations."
