Tubes for airbag applications

Jansen produces welded tubes made of high-tensile materials for airbags. Applications in this segment of the automotive industry are very sensitive in terms of quality. Component failure in the event of airbag deployment can have severe consequences. The quality of the tubes is guaranteed by excellent preliminary material quality, a very stable welding process in conjunction with comprehensive seam quality testing as well as stringent production and mass tolerances. Tubes produced in this way withstand maximum stress when airbags are deployed.
