Tubes for assembled camshafts

Jansen produces weld-drawn tubes meeting maximum precision demands made of standard materials and high-tensile steel grades for assembled camshafts. Accurate concentricity, high degrees of roundness and straightness as well as tight mass tolerances are paramount elements for camshaft producers in terms of tube selection.  These criteria guarantee ideal tube processing on production systems as well as smooth operation of installed camshafts in engines. High-tensile materials (> E 355) are increasingly in demand as a result of the tendency to light-weight design. These materials enable reducing the weight while maintaining comprehensive, physical properties.
