Around fifty start-ups, established companies as well as educational and research institutions applied for the Swiss Technology Award 2022, nine have reached the final. We are proud to be among them. Now we are pitching for first place in the «Industry» category with our JANSEN hipress geothermal probe at the Swiss Innovation Forum 2022 on 23 November in Basel. JANSEN hipress reaches new dimensions in geothermal energy. As the most powerful geothermal probe in the world, it has the lowest hydraulic resistance in relation to the installation diameter required. Now it is possible to use geothermal energy to reach depths that were previously difficult to reach in order to meet the high energy requirements of large buildings and inner-city districts.
The Swiss Technology Award is the most important award for innovation and technology transfer in Switzerland. Every year, the prize is awarded to the most outstanding technology-based innovations and developments in the categories «Inventors», «Start-ups (Rising Stars)» and «Innovation Leaders». This year it will be awarded for the 34rd time. We are looking forward to this unique experience and the exchange with other innovative minds during the conference day.
