Quality management



For a company that offers its customers a wide range of first class products and services, the need for top quality takes absolute priority.

To us, quality means that we direct all our efforts to meet the needs of our market. In other words, providing what our customers want. In everything they do, all of our employees have to be aware of the importance of quality and cost-effectiveness. To make sure that this happens, each of our employees is carefully selected and trained for the job in question.

We encourage and maintain quality-mindedness by providing appropriate information, instruction and training.

After intensive preliminary work in all areas of the company we are now able to announce the successful certification of our Integrated Management System (IMS). As of 15 February 2002, our entire company is certified in accordance with the following standards:

ISO 9001:2000
ISO/TS 16949:2002
ISO 14001:2004


The Jansen Company has been the proud possessor of the ISO 9001 certificate since 1992. This existing management system has been reorganised and expanded.

  • The functional ISO 9001 Quality Management System operating up to now has been reorganised into a process-orientated ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System. Process orientation is an essential characteristic of the entire new IMS.

  • The management system has been expanded by integrating the quality requirements of the automotive industry according to ISO/TS 16949:2002 as well as the environmental management requirements according to ISO 14001:1999 into the overall system.

  • In addition to the Quality and Environmental standards, also integrated into our IMS is a Safety management which meets the requirements of labour legislation as well.

Apart from the need to meet norms and standards, which is ever more frequently required on the market, the IMS serves primarily as a management tool. The management of our company is convinced that this comprehensive system will assist in enabling us to satisfy the wishes of our customers to the utmost and thus to maintain our successful market position in the future.

The Jansen Group, with factories in Oberriet/CH and Dingelstädt/DE, is one of the first companies to have built up such a comprehensive management system and to have achieved certification for it.
