Jansen Ltd. manufactures profile systems in plastic and steel on a work's site extending over 120,000 m2 in Oberriet
SG.
In 1996, the group management of Jansen Holding Ltd. decided a second
production site was required. Consequently, a new production building
measuring 200 m in length and 40 m in width, as well as a 100 x 54 m
warehouse facility, was constructed on a 70,000 m2 site in
Thüringen Dingelstädt,
Germany, to complement the plant in
Oberriet SG. This strategic decision to increase capacity enabled
additional objectives to be met: namely, proximity to the principal
markets and a location within the European Union.
