Static pre-dimensioning must be made when planning metal designs. Thus different static values e.g. the necessary moment of inertia of a certain steel bar under well-known load are computed, with which the examining can determine whether these values are within the indicated range of the manufacturer.
The software "JANSEN pre-dimensioning" simplifies the handling of the static computation substantially. The tabular determination of the static values from the order catalogue is replaced by the software program by appropriate computation modules in the software program.
The software replaces however in no case the exact examination and computation of a stress analyst, which must be accomplished subject-related and specifically regarded.
