Façades with large module widths are currently a popular architectural style.
The excellent structural properties of steel profiles allow you to take full advantage of this trend. The newly developed, point-fixed glazing clips and insulating glass with special spacers now make it possible to forego an external, vertical profile cover and instead seal the glazing with a 20 mm wide silicone joint.
This increases the transparency of the façade and serves to further underline the horizontal aspect. The new glazing clip system is suitable for all profile shapes and basic depths in face widths of 50 mm and 60 mm – now also for VISS Basic façades. Double and triple insulating glazing can now be installed up to a unit thickness of 55 mm due to the various fastening anchor.

The version with horizontal cover sections and vertical sealing has been applied successfully to many projects over several years.
