At Jansen, we draw our inspiration from nature. We have used steel profiles to imitate the strength of plant stems and the hollow bones of birds. The slender profile dimensions allow ore natural light and provide greater creative freedom, factors that are valued by architects, designers and end users alike.



Steel is extremely robust and offers a high level of resistance to mechanical damage. Jansen profile systems are ideally suited for use on all public access buildings: commercial and industrial buildings, schools and hospitals, sports and leisure coplexes, or service centres and railway stations. With a value of approx 210 kN/mm2, steel has the highest modulus of elasticity of any material widely used in construction. The specific advantages of steel open up insteresting structural possibilities for fire protection, urglar resistance and sound insulation. The broad range of products available also includes thermally insulated systems and stainless steel profiles.

Jansen profile steel tubing systems can also be used for doors, gates, windows, and façades. Industrial prefabrication saves time and makes the whole process easy and economical. Our extensive series of profiles is supplemented by a complete range of fittings and advanced fabrication tools. In addition to our technical documentation and the sophisticated "Janisoft" design software, we also provide designers, architects and fabricators with a comprehensive consultancy service and training.

Special shaped steel tubes










Maximum tube size equivalent to a developed circ umference of 500 mm, wall thicknesses 0.5 to 5 mm



The process of drawing permits complex shapes to be produced with the retention of extremely high dimensional accuracy and closely defined properties. Where necessary, tubes may also be annealed. This process already becomes cost effective with small quantities from a few hundred metres. A warehouse with plentiful and diverse feedstock coupled with an in-house tool construction facility allow for flexible production and short lead times.

Our extensive experience in cold drawing steel tubes coupled with a state-of-the-art tool-construction facility enable us to produce profiled precision steel tubes of varying wall thickness. Consequently, the scope of application in this area is extremely interesting, for instance in the construction of machinery, tools and apparatus.

In the rolling process, we shape and weld your special shaped steel tube directly from strip. This process is particularly cost effective for larger and repeat orders. It is also ideal for creating complex cross sections.
