Cost-efficient PE pipes

Polyethylene is one of the most widely used materials in today's pipeline constructions. The advantages of polyethylene are: light weight – durability – flexibility. These advantages can be used to the full in building engineering. Ongoing progress in the raw material sector is producing types of polythene with highly specific properties. This opens up new areas of potential application, which also are being exploited by Jansen.

Sanitary pipes
Aggressive, hard drinking water requires corrosion-resistant pipes for sanitary applications. The high temperature of hot water places exacting demands on the raw material. These are best met by JANOlen PE-X sanitary pipes which are eminently suited for cold and hot water installations in all areas of building engineering.

Heating pipes
Pleasant warmth makes for cosiness, health and comfort. In order to satisfy today's high standards of comfort, heating installations are becoming more and more complex. The heating pipes used are a major component of these installations, as high quality pipes make a vital contribution to generating optimal warmth.

Pipes for heating and sanitary applications made of cross-linked polyethylene

The JANOlen PE-X sanitary and heating pipe is manufactured from crosslinkable polyethylene. After production, the pipe itself undergoes a second process in which the material is subjected to molecular cross-linkage. This process produces a higher mechanical and thermal resistance. The heating pipes are given extra protection by a barrier layer preventing oxygen diffusion.
