JANOlen pressure line system made of PEHD with PF sockets coupled by axial force

By using JANOlen pressure lines with PF sockets you can obtain a self-locking axial force coupling without welding. The socket combines the advantages of a socket connection with the tensile strength of a weld. Laying time is reduced to the minimum, so that rapid progress is guaranteed in the construction. The pipes can be joined without any problem even in bad weather conditions and without requiring any electrical power.

Advantages

  • Fast
  • Independent
  • Uncomplicated

Available range

The pipes are black with blue identifying stripes and are supplied in lengths of 5 and 10 metres. Full range of fittings with PF sockets coupled by axial force.

The system

The PF sockets coupled by axial force combine the advantages of a socket connection with the tensile strength of a weld. Under tensile stress, a glass-fibre reinforced clamping ring integrated into the socket acts as a spline because of its taper. After this process is finished, the tensile strength is transmitted from the pipe to the socket via the teeth of the clamping ring. No further radial forces are exerted on the inserted pipe. Within the framework of the guaranteed nominal pressures, there is no decrease in the tensile strength of the joint due to creep of the PE.
